SusieCakes has 26 bakery locations across CA TX and TN. Our bakeries are filled with the delicious tastes and sweet smells of cakes cupcakes cookies pies and bars all baked from scratch onsite daily using the freshest and finest ingredients.

In accordance with California law the expected salary range for this California position is between $25.00 and $28.00 an hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Supplemental tips: est. $2$3 an hour
Full time role: 3240 hours a week

The Decorations Manager leads the culinary operation in frosting inscribing and decorating of delicious cakes cupcakes and other baked goods. They are charged with ensuring the highest quality baked goods are decorated in a timely manner by means of training supporting overall safety and developing the culinary team through the specialization of decorations management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the teams by motivating training and developing the culinary team members in decorations skills; decoration finishing and inscribing on a variety of products; including but not limited to cakes cupcakes and frosted sugar cookies
- Assign daily decorationneeds to team members and ensure their completion
- Ensure all food is prepared handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in Culinary Baking or Pastry Arts preferred
- 2 years of leadership experience in a team environment
- Ability to work in multiple regional locations
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
- Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent walking kneeling bending and reaching overhead
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift move and carry up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to taste product for quality assurance i.e buttercream(s) cake(s) and cupcake(s)batter cookie dough and other recipes as assigned.
