L. T. Westlake is an Early Learning to Grade 5 Fine Arts Elementary School in Taber AB. Westlake prides itself on having small class sizes and offering its students a variety of learning opportunities to ensure they can explore their interests.
0.50 FTE Temporary Kindergarten TeacherMondays Wednesdays & some Fridays
Assignment includes Mondays and Wednesdays with some Fridays.
L.T. Westlake Fine Arts Elementary School is looking for a dynamic individual who is focused on building strong relationships to join our team to teach kindergarten. Our program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays with some Fridays.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be willing to collaborate with other staff members
- Have experience in an early education setting
- Be focused on having an inclusive classroom
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be an excellent planner with a solid understanding of curriculum and assessment strategies
- Create creative and engaging lessons
- Have a literacy or numeracy background
- Having a fine arts strength/background would be ideal but is not required
