The Senior Analyst is responsible for planning managing and providing content/subject matter expertise for analytics teams onboarding the Analytics Data Hub (ADH) as tenants. The ADH is a scalable analytics platform to securely provision share and analyze health data. The Senior Analyst works closely with key internal/external stakeholders to lead deliverables and identify both issues and opportunities for improvement in ADH. This position plays a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of the collected data and that the data requirements of multiple stakeholders are met.

Here is what you will be doing:
Provides analytic asset leadership by offering consulting services to business and analytics teams regarding which assets are available and appropriate for the intended applications
Proactively identifies analytic asset needs based on an understanding of corporate and portfoliospecific priorities and available data
Manages ADH Tenant initiatives including supporting project planning and managing risks and issues
Ensures analytic assets are constructed and deployed in compliance with legal and privacy recommendations
Offers knowledge translation services to support business and analytics users in the uptake and interpretation of defined analytic assets
Works internally and externally with key stakeholders to identify data sources data users and data processes
Participates and supports the Business requirement gathering sessions
Provides consultative support to stakeholders with respect to the analysis of data to identify and investigate data quality issues
Partners with Data Engineering function within the Data & Information Delivery (D&ID) team to support data configurations & production of data and analytic assets in ADH
Accountable for the management and documentation of Analytic asset dictionaries Analytics Product Catalogue
Accountable for user access management
Identifies and supports governance and capabilities work items to meet dynamic analytic needs
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience
Minimum bachelors degree in healthcare informatics Health Administration or similar discipline preferred
Preferred 3 years of data related experience or experience in similar capacity
Experience working with relational databases including writing SQL queries
Preferred experience with analytic tools like SAS R Python
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and solicit support from a wide range of external and internal stakeholders in the delivery of the program activities
Requires an ability to influence decisions through wellarticulated recommendations to key decision makers
Demonstrated superior written communication skills including the ability to prepare executive correspondence
An indepth understanding of Ontarios health care environment is an asset
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work within a cross functional team
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
