We are seeking a driven and engaging General Manager Commercial and New Markets (ANZ) to join our team. This is a permanent position based in our North Sydney or Brisbane office with some travel required.

This role has overall responsibility for identifying and executing new business opportunities introducing new revenue streams optimising commercial strategies retail pricing strategies and yield management to drive sustainable growth.

In this highimpact leadership role you will leverage your expertise in insurance sales business development pricing strategy and commercial analytics to influence senior stakeholders and drive collaboration across underwriting sales finance and risk teams.

  • Youll lead the retail portfolio strategy via client engagements identifying market opportunities sales and data analysis and launching new business lines that align with customer needs and business goals

  • In collaboration with the sales finance and underwriting teams oversee commercial retail pricing strategies ensuring sustainable and profitable growth

  • Oversee marketfacing engagements including major client tenders commercial negotiations and new strategic partnerships

  • Youll develop and scale innovative products that are marketfit commercially viable and designed for sustainable growth across Partner and Direct channels

  • Youll drive continuous product improvement by aligning crossfunctional teams around evolving customer needs market trends and strategic priorities

  • Youll champion revenue and portfolio growth through datadriven decisionmaking performance insights and the commercialisation of new offerings

  • Youll provide productfocused commercial leadership shaping contract structures pricing strategies and financial reporting to support strong product outcomes

  • Youll lead and support direct reports

  • Youll have proven experience in sales pricing and product management within travel insurance or financial services

  • Youll have a proven track record in driving revenue growth by developing innovative products and implementing effective pricing strategies

  • Youll have a strong track record in identifying and closing new business to drive revenue growth

  • Youll bring expertise in profitability portfolio optimisation and executing strategic business initiatives

  • Youll be highly skilled in stakeholder management negotiations and collaborating with board/executivelevel leadership

  • Youll have extensive experience leading highperformance teams with a solid understanding of financial analytics and market insights
