Duties & Responsibilities
ENVIRONMENT:
An innovative Solar and Battery Backup Solutions provider in Johannesburg is on the lookout for a Marketing Manager whos not only strategic but also handson and bursting with creative energy. If you have 35 years of digital marketing experience and a qualification in marketing sales business or a related field this is your opportunity to shape and lead multichannel campaigns in a fastgrowing company.
DUTIES:
Content & Social Media
- Plan create (or manage creation of) 2 posts weekly across platforms
- Manage social media channels: comments DMs reviews
- Mix of stills videos carousels
Digital Presence
- Manage Google My Business profile (reviews photos info)
- Update their WordPress Elementor website (content pages uploads)
- Write and design biweekly email newsletters
- Maintain and segment mailing lists
Design & Production
- Create flyers print material and ad artwork (35 images in multiple sizes)
- Coordinate with print suppliers (street poles signage promo gear)
Campaigns & Strategy
- Write ad copy for Meta/Google ads
- Collaborate with leadership on marketing strategy and execution
- Update pricing/packages across platforms and collateral
Event Coordination
- Plan and manage 12 events monthly (trade shows activations internal town halls)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 35 years digital marketing experience.
- Degree/diploma in marketing sales business or related fields.
- Strong vlogging production skills: filming editing lighting audio.
- Experience in renewable energy or a scaleup environment.
- Handson with tools like Canva Adobe Suite Meta Ads Manager Mailchimp and WordPress.
