Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Activity Assistant Boca Raton FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assisting with and leads recreational and therapeutic activities in the Memory and Wellness Centers Adult Day Center.
Position incumbent accepts responsibility for encouraging assisting and supervising participant involvement welcoming new participants and setting up and cleaning up activities area.
Assisting volunteers and other staff in receiving meals from caterer on daily basis tracking and recording food temperatures and reporting concerns to Center Manager.
Maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of food an and food service items.
Assisting with maintenance of inventory of activities supplies and routinely assists in the acquisition of supplies.
Providing personal care as needed. Participates in emergency procedures as directed.
Performing other duties as assigned.
