Schedule
Were open to parttime or fulltime scheduling depending on the candidates needs.
Our current schedule priority includes:
Friday and Saturday availability strongly preferred
Additional coverage one weekday (Wednesday or Thursday) ideal especially if interested in surgery
Ideally 3 days/week with flexibility to adjust
Were seeking a DVM who can work 3 Saturdays per month but were open to discussing accommodations
Cases
At VCA Cairo we practice personalized highquality medicine with the support of a strong and skilled medical team.
Our services include:
Preventive care and wellness exams
Surgery (routine and some advanced soft tissue procedures)
Dentistry
Radiology and inhouse lab capabilities
Chronic condition management and internal medicine
Endoflife care and client support
We welcome DVMs with varied interests and while were primarily a dogandcat practice were open to discussing exotics or other special skills you may bring.

Total Rewards
As a VCA Associate eligible fulltime employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package including:
Compensation
- Salary is negotiable based on experience skills knowledge abilities and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $77000 to 160000 range listed is based on a 2440 hour work week.
- This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in (IL) or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
