We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet SetUp Attendant to join our team! This individual will help to direct the set up and preparation of banquet rooms for banquet functions as well as clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.

Status: Full Time

Hourly Pay: 16.00

Your role:

  • Assemble and arrange conference equipment in conference rooms per event order and to the standard set by Conference Services management.
  • Daily thorough cleaning of classrooms ballrooms and team rooms following proper cleaning standards including the removal of trash from meeting spaces and the restocking of meeting room supplies.
  • Refreshes meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks
  • Completes special projects as directed by department management.
  • Moves convention material boxes programs etc. from hotel receiving docks registration areas guest rooms or suites
  • Bus tables and reset them as needed
  • Resolve guests issues and create an amazing experience
  • Communicate and maintain a positive relationship with culinary and stewarding staff
  • Maintain an awareness of all functions events and meetings taking place at any given time

Qualifications

  • Someone who is comfortable with being able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height and frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Someone who can accurately follow instructions both verbally and written
  • Someone who is highly detailed orientated
  • Someone comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
  • Someone with excellent communication skills
  • Someone who thrives in working in a teamwork environment
  • Someone with a flexible schedule that may include evenings weekends and holidays

  • Someone who is comfortable with being on their feet throughout the shift with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing.
  • Someone who can bend squat push and pull frequently

Su funcin: Montar y organizar el equipo de conferencias en las salas segn la orden del evento y segn el estndar establecido por la gerencia de Servicios de Conferencias.

Limpieza diaria a fondo de aulas salones de baile y salas de equipo siguiendo las normas de limpieza adecuadas incluyendo la retirada de basura de los espacios de reunin y la reposicin de suministros para las salas.

Refrescar las salas de reuniones durante las pausas para comer y tomar caf. Realizar proyectos especiales segn las indicaciones de la gerencia del departamento.

Trasladar cajas de material para la convencin programas etc. desde las zonas de recepcin del hotel las reas de registro las habitaciones o suites. Recoger las mesas y reacomodarlas segn sea necesario.

Resolver los problemas de los huspedes y crear una experiencia excepcional. Comunicarse y mantener una buena relacin con el personal culinario y de mayordoma.

Estar al tanto de todas las funciones eventos y reuniones que se celebren en cualquier momento. Requisitos Persona que se sienta cmoda levantando y cargando con frecuencia hasta 11 kg a la altura de los hombros y hasta 23 kg. Alguien que pueda seguir instrucciones con precisin tanto verbales como escritas.

Alguien con una alta orientacin al detalle. Alguien que se sienta cmodo trabajando en un entorno dinmico.

Alguien con excelentes habilidades de comunicacin. Alguien que prospere trabajando en equipo. Alguien con un horario flexible que pueda incluir tardes fines de semana y das festivos.

Alguien con capacidad para resolver problemas. Alguien con pasin por crear una experiencia excepcional para todos los huspedes.

Alguien que se sienta cmodo estando de pie durante todo el turno con periodos intermitentes de caminata y subida de escaleras.

Alguien que pueda agacharse ponerse en cuclillas empujar y jalar con frecuencia.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
