We are seeking a talented individual to join our People Strategy team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in New York Philadelphia or Washington D.C. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Global Benefits and Mobility COE forms part of the People Strategy team. The People Strategy Team identifies develops and delivers solutions and is comprised of six centers of expertise HR Strategy Workforce Planning Talent & Inclusion Executive Compensation BroadBased Compensation and Benefits & Mobility. The People Strategy team delivers informed perspectives and creative solutions; anticipates and helps the organization respond to market business and colleague needs; and brings a balance of deep technical expertise and consultative approach to identifying opportunities and developing scalable solutions that enable impact.
The Global Benefits and Mobility Leader will be responsible for developing and executing the global benefits and mobility strategy and overseeing the administration of comprehensive benefits offerings for all colleagues across Marsh McLennan. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering innovative sustainable benefits and mobility solutions that support our broader people strategy and business objectives. They will bring a global perspective to benefits and mobility ensuring our programs address the unique challenges and opportunities in the diverse markets where our colleagues operate.
This role forms part of the People Strategy Leadership Team and reports to the Head of People Strategy.
The Global Benefits and Mobility Center of Expertise (COE) collaborates with the other teams in our People function to provide strategy design delivery and subject matter expertise to the organization on integrated benefits and mobility programs ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements to drive colleague engagement and contribute to business success.
We will count on you to:
Lead the strategic planning design implementation and delivery of integrated benefits and mobility programs.
Incorporate relevant innovations into benefits and mobility design while managing costs and ensuring robust governance of global plans and programs.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across finance HR operations legal and technology to ensure our benefits and mobility programs are costeffective complaint and efficiently delivered.
Implement program changes with operational excellence and develop a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance colleague engagement.
Leverage workforce analytics to assess benefit and mobility trends measure program effectiveness and drive datainformed decisions. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decisionmaking.
Select and manage benefit and mobility vendors serving as key decisionmaker regarding vendor services.
Lead and develop a highperforming team of benefits and mobility professionals fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration to design programs that resonate with our colleagues while achieving operational excellence.
Make an immediate impact by implementing innovative benefits and mobility solutions that support our mission of helping colleagues thrive physically mentally and financially.
Monitor external market trends and consult with the broader People Strategy COE to identify gaps developing regulatory requirements and other relevant insights.
Apply a consultative skillset to benefitrelated themes turning complex topics into an integrated narrative that aligns with Marsh McLennans purpose and commitments.
What you need to have:
A consultative mindset and clientcentric approach to problem solving recognized as an experienced advisor to senior leaders informing business strategies and priorities.
Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills. Lead directly or via influence.
Proven ability to flex own style to be both strategic and handson when required.
Intellectually curious seeking opportunities to develop new skills for themselves and others.
Extensive experience in benefits including leadership of a benefits function in a large complex global organization with proven track record of coaching and mentoring others.
Indepth knowledge of key benefits and mobility public policy issues as well as benefitsrelated laws and regulations.
Experience in creating and/or harmonizing programs on a global scale.
Extensive business and human resources experience in a growth environment with substantial organizational change; experience with mergers and acquisitions including HR integration work a plus.
Proven ability in successfully operating in a matrixed (geographic / functional) global work environment.
Ability to simplify the complex identify the root cause present a compelling story and operationalize with consistent execution.
Discipline to work both individually as well as collaboratively across a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders globally.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment with a high level of adaptability to different cultural contexts.
