Job Description
Zionsville Community Schools is seeking qualified candidates for our Aquatics Manager position.
POSITION SUMMARY: Specific duties will include managing the overall operation of the Zionsville Community Schools Aquatic Center. This will include staffing and implementation of school based and community recreational aquatic programs financial reporting and budgeting for the Aquatic Center administration for online registration for aquatic activities maintain the Aquatic Center webpage and manuals and oversee pool operator responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
- Development staffing and implementation of school based aquatic programs.
- Development staffing and implementation of community based recreational aquatic programs including but not limited to open swim swim lessons fitness classes birthday parties special organization requests Zionsville Aquatic Masters Swim Club GROW and Eagle Recreation.
- Oversee supervision evaluation and coordination of schedules for all staff members working in the Aquatic Center including but not limited to pool managers lifeguards and swim instructors.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of Aquatic Center webpage outlining the mission policies pricing hours of operation and programs available to schools and community.
- Responsible for all financial reporting for Aquatic Center including forecasting budgeting payroll reporting and invoice processing.
- Oversee pool operator responsibilities in cooperation with Facilities department. This includes chemical testing and supply inventory compliance with local and state regulations reporting to Board of Health equipment and pool maintenance development of Emergency Action Plan and coordinate pool custodial services.
- Complete all contractual obligations in coordination with ZCS Administration and staff for any group (Zionsville Swim Club Scuba etc.) utilizing the Aquatic Center according to the Zionsville Community Schools Community Use of School Facilities Policy currently in place.
- Development of the budget for operation goals with Office of Special Projects and use of the Aquatic Center as approved by the Director of Operations.
