Richmond Behavioral Health Emergency Services Programis now offering signon bonus opportunities for qualified professionals! We are recruiting for qualified fulltime licensed or licenseeligible clinicians to provide crisis intervention and community response services. Emergency Services offers an exciting dynamic work environment providing services to adults youth individuals with behavioral health disorders and persons in need of developmental services. All crisis positions are essential and will require hours beyond more traditional scheduling options.
Essential Functions
Duties include preadmission screening evaluation for hospitalization crisis intervention triage for nonemergency intakes information & referral brief case management and crisis stabilization. Services require working in the office and in a variety of community settings. Must be able to multitask manage stressful and highrisk work environments interface with multiple behavioral health partners and first responders and to work independently with minimal need for direct supervision.
Develops and facilitates psychoeducational groups; provides individual family and group counseling; implements treatment plans; coordinates daily treatment schedule.
Monitors and manages an assigned caseload.
Provides crisis intervention and prevention services to individuals and families.
Develops and maintains administrative and clinical files; prepares various reports and case related correspondence.
Provides consultation education and prevention services; provides drug and alcohol testing.
Participates in clinical administrative and supervisory meetings; collaborates with other staff members concerning cases.
Performs intakes client assessments and diagnostic interviews and develops and writes comprehensive intake and diagnostic summaries and reports; conducts mental health assessment and monitors level of functioning.
Delivers provides and monitors medications; provides physician and staff with updates; maintains medical records in accordance with standards.
Prioritizes medication and lab work monitoring with medical staff to maintain compliance.
Manages and documents contacts; enters and updates information in database.
Coordinates case management services; coordinates and links client to community resources and medical services; interfaces with other service providers and client support system.
Attends professional conferences and trainings as required.
Attends court as needed to update the court on the participants progress and/or status of new referrals.
Supervises student interns as directed.
