Purpose and Scope:
The Accounting Manageris responsible forthe daily activities in theAccountingdepartment. They analyze recordtrackand audit financial information. They also manage and motivate accounting staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages general accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and taxes.
- Schedules and assigns tasks to staff.
- Assesses current practices and procedures and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
- Develops staff by managing performance setting goals providing ongoing training andmaintainingstrong employee relationships.
- Helps with quarterly and yearend financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct andtimelyclosings and reporting.
- All other duties asrequire.

Education/ Training:
- Experience working with mutiple divsions within company.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly Excel and spreadsheets.
- Experience with SAGE 500 or Dynamics Business Central.
- Construction industry experience is preferred.
Compensation: $85 $95K
