Job Description
Division: Group Business Solutions (GBS)
We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to join the Cash & Banking Tribe within GBS. You will be part of the Transversal Testing Team. You will be expected to ensure a highquality product delivery via both functional & nonfunctional testing on various projects.
Are you a handson experienced Test Lead with a solid background in system & systemintegration testing and you have affinity with quality at both functional and nonfunctional domains then Euroclear is looking for you!
Responsibilities:
- Define test strategies or optimize existing ones applying a riskbased approach
- Prepare test planning
- Define roles and responsibilities for testing and release aspects within the scope of delivery
- Contribute to the budget estimation exercises within delivery
- For a small scope you will have to execute the full test cycle by yourself while for larger scopes you will be accountable for the resource assignment and management of the testers including offshore staff
- Coordination of test preparation execution & release activities in line with our agile operating model
- Evaluating the Environment needs & coordinating the test environment setup
- Provide visibility on test coverage via the setup of a traceability matrix
- Defect management including classification and prioritization
- Producing weekly test progress reports
- Reporting the testing status to your relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to the impediment management in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders
- Write up Test Summary Report and discuss the results with the appropriate stakeholders
- Support the delivery to Preproduction & Production
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced testers and test leads
- Suggest lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to modernize our practices within the Tribe
- Be an active member of the testing community within Euroclear
- Your presence will be occasionally required for deployments (release launches) on weekends and in the evenings
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience working as Test Lead in IT and proven experience in a complex IT multiplatform environment
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract & analyze relevant information from business & technical documentation system data clients and colleagues
- Proven experience in an Agile environment
- CI/CD knowledge and experience is an asset
- A good knowledge and understanding of distributed technologies such as Windows Linux API as well as communication media (MQ file transfer )
- Experience in package testing is a strong asset
- Experience in applying a riskbased approach
- Experience working with tools such as ALM TFS ServiceNow or similar
- Ability to drive several projects in parallel
- Experience with offshoring is an asset
- Experience in nonfunctional testing based on market practiceis an asset
- Affinity or Experience in test automation is an asset
- Experience in the financial industry with knowledge of Swift messaging and specific Cash & Banking services is an asset
