About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Specialist to join our AI delivery team in a strategic technical leadership role. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical thought leader driving innovation in our AI initiatives while mentoring teams and architecting complex solutions across multiple business domains. He/she will be responsible for tackling our most challenging technical problems establishing best practices and providing technical direction that shapes our overall AI strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

Architect and lead the development of sophisticated machine learning solutions for our most complex and highimpact business challenges ensuring scalability maintainability and business value

Drive technical decisionmaking across multiple AI initiatives providing expertise in selecting appropriate methodologies frameworks and approaches for different use cases

Establish technical standards and best practices for the entire data science practice including model development evaluation criteria and deployment strategies

Serve as the principal technical advisor to senior leadership on AI capabilities limitations and strategic opportunities

Lead proofofconcept initiatives for emerging AI technologies and assess their potential impact on business objectives

Design and implement novel machine learning approaches when standard solutions prove insufficient for complex business problems

Provide technical oversight for critical AI projects ensuring quality scalability and alignment with architectural standards

Mentor and guide senior data scientists helping them grow their technical expertise and problemsolving capabilities

Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to ensure AI solutions align with broader technical strategies and standards

Lead technical reviews and provide architectural guidance for complex AI solutions across multiple teams

Drive research initiatives to explore cuttingedge AI techniques and their practical applications in business contexts

Develop frameworks and methodologies for evaluating and mitigating AI risks including bias fairness and ethical considerations

Experience and Skills Required

PhD in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related quantitative field strongly preferred

10 years of handson experience in applied data science and machine learning with a proven track record of leading complex AI initiatives

Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing novel machine learning approaches for unique business challenges

Deep understanding of modern AI/ML architectures including advanced neural networks reinforcement learning and generative AI

Extensive experience with distributed computing model optimization and scaling AI solutions in production environments

Strong background in mathematical modeling statistical analysis and algorithmic complexity

Proven ability to lead technical strategy and drive innovation in data science practices

Experience architecting endtoend ML solutions that integrate with complex enterprise systems

Advanced expertise in multiple programming languages (Python R) and major deep learning frameworks

Comprehensive understanding of MLOps practices and experience designing deployment architectures

Track record of publishing research papers or patents in machine learning or related fields

Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence technical direction at executive levels

Demonstrated success in mentoring senior technical staff and building highperforming teams

Deep knowledge of AI ethics fairness considerations and regulatory compliance requirements

Experience with cloudnative architectures and major cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
