Dermatopathologist

Job Functions Duties Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

We are currently seeking a Dermatopathologist to join our leading Dermatopathology Division in Fall River MA

Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate diagnoses of specimens from both glass slide and digital formats
• Provide microscopic dictations and at times gross evaluations when appropriate
• Be available for physicians and staff to discuss specimen handling diagnosis and management as needed
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management coworkers and clients to provide quality medical care and customer service
• Participate as faculty in our educational programs with residents and fellows
• Participate in Tumor Board Grand Rounds and professional society meetings when called upon
• Help with research projects
• Participate in other division or companywide activities (sales/service calls trade shows social media) to promote our services as needed.

Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D./D.O.) with completion of residency training (either dermatology or pathology)
• Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Dermatology
• A minimum of 14 years experience including fellowship training
• Dermatopathology fellowship training required with Board Certification/Eligibility
• Excellent communication skills are a priority
