Job Description

Overview

Group 1 Automotive Inc. an international Fortune 300 automotive retailer and a leading operator in the automotive retailing industry has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced driven and handson Sr. HRIS Analyst.

TheSr. HRIS Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining optimizing and supporting the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS administration exceptional analytical skills and a passion for streamlining processes to enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workdayrelated inquiries troubleshooting and support for endusers across the organization
  • Collaborate with HR Payroll and IT teams to ensure data accuracy integrity and compliance within the Workday system
  • Configure and maintain Workday Payroll
  • Participate in system upgrades enhancements and implementations ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business processes
  • Develop and maintain custom reports dashboards and analytics to provide insights into HR data and trends
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows automate processes and enhance system functionality to improve overall efficiency
  • Provide training to endusers HR professionals and managers on Workday system usage best practices and new features
  • Stay current with industry trends best practices and new Workday releases to recommend and implement improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Information Systems Business Administration or a related field
  • 3 years of Experience as a Workday Analyst
  • Strong expertise in Workday Payroll configuration and/or management is required.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
  • Workday Certified Professional designation preferred
  • Project management experience

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent Communication and Influence skills are required.
  • Collaborative detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize using project management and organization skills
