Overview
Group 1 Automotive Inc. an international Fortune 300 automotive retailer and a leading operator in the automotive retailing industry has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced driven and handson Sr. HRIS Analyst.
TheSr. HRIS Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining optimizing and supporting the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS administration exceptional analytical skills and a passion for streamlining processes to enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workdayrelated inquiries troubleshooting and support for endusers across the organization
- Collaborate with HR Payroll and IT teams to ensure data accuracy integrity and compliance within the Workday system
- Configure and maintain Workday Payroll
- Participate in system upgrades enhancements and implementations ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business processes
- Develop and maintain custom reports dashboards and analytics to provide insights into HR data and trends
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows automate processes and enhance system functionality to improve overall efficiency
- Provide training to endusers HR professionals and managers on Workday system usage best practices and new features
- Stay current with industry trends best practices and new Workday releases to recommend and implement improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Information Systems Business Administration or a related field
- 3 years of Experience as a Workday Analyst
- Strong expertise in Workday Payroll configuration and/or management is required.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Workday Certified Professional designation preferred
- Project management experience
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent Communication and Influence skills are required.
- Collaborative detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize using project management and organization skills
