JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The College of Engineering is seeking an Assistant (Chancellor/Senior Administrator) to coordinate various highlevel confidential and sensitive activities. This position will work collaboratively with administrative support staff across the Deans Office (DO) and with college leadership serving as the initial point of contact for College of Engineering constituents. This position regularly coordinates and communicates with external and internal stakeholders; therefore the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to perform positively respectfully and professionally at all times. Communications include but are not limited to faculty staff students parents and university leadership.
The College of Engineering is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate prioritize and maintain schedules and calendar of meetings appointments and special projects for the Dean and other members of the DO.
Evaluate and prioritize requests deadlines and conflicting needs.
Oversee and coordinate Dean and Department Head searches.
Assist with coordinating work assignments for other Deans Office support staff.
Oversee logistics for projects events and programs.
Develop and maintain Deans Office Administrative Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Education:
This position requires an Associates degree or higher plus four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience coordinating highlevel executive meetings and creating agendas.
Attention to detail organization professionalism integrity proactiveness and the ability to multitask are required.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a fastpaced environment.

The salary range for this position including all possible grades is:
$51000.00 $74000.00Salary Structure additional information on Penn States job and salary structure.
