Are you ready to join the Uncarrier movementThe Data Engineer builds the infrastructure required for efficient extraction transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL Azure and Snowflake AWS big data technologies. The Data Engineer is responsible for identifying crafting and implementing internal process improvements such as automating manual processes optimizing data delivery redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability etc. This role supports the marketing and consumer lines of business focusing on contextual marketing paid media and commercialization.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop data engineering solutions including data pipelinesdata transformation data privacyand analytical toolswithin the TMobile Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Assemble large complex data sets that meet functional/ nonfunctional business requirements
- Data wrangling of heterogeneous data exploration and discovery in pursuit of new business insights
- Actively contribute to the teams knowledge and drive new capabilities forward
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics
- Work with stakeholder teams and team management to assist with datarelated technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Build data tools for analytics and data science team members that assist them in building and optimizing our products performance and effectiveness
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- Bachelors Degree Computer Science Statistics Informatics Information Systems or another quantitative field or equivalent experience (Required)
- 24 years Data Engineering (Required)
- Experience building and optimizing big data data pipelines architectures and data sets (Required)
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement (Required)
- Experience in languages such as SQL DAX Python Java Scala and/or Go (Required)
- SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases (Required)
- Analytical Approach To ProblemSolving; Ability To Use Technology To Tackle Business Problems(Required)
- Experienced in relevant programming languages for data engineering such as Python Scala Java with a strong understanding of data structures algorithms and data engineering principles. (Required)
- Experience in designing implementing and managing data solutions using Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Snowflake and onpremise platforms.(Required)
- Ability to manage work across multiple projects good organizational skills (Required)
- Experienced in applying data encryption data privacy and governance regulation i.e. CCPA USGCI COPPA to customer data engineering use cases (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $84900 $153200Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
