Job Description

Position:Registrar/Office Support 2025/2026 School Year

Anticipated Start Date: June 1 2025

This position will work PT during the summer and will begin full time work at the start of the school year.

Scope

Christian Academy seeks to hire a Middle School/High School Registrar. This fulltime 12month position plays a key role in the success of the Christian Academy School System and the fulfillment of its mission to develop students with a heart for God.

Qualifications

The candidate shall possess:

  • A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and Godly spirit
  • A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
  • Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith of Christian Academy School System
  • Agreement and belief that The Bible is the final authority concerning truth morality and the proper conduct of mankind

The ideal candidate shall possess:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others
  • Effective interpersonal skills

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Admissions: Assist the Admission Coordinators process new students and student withdrawals.

Attendance: Maintaining daily quarterly and semester student attendance records.

Clerical: Answering the phone and interacting with shareholders and college representatives. Maintaining students permanent records and fulfilling transcript requests. Assisting with the creation of graduation presentations.

Counselor Support: Supporting the counseling team in all clerical areas college kickoff presentations and scheduling/coordinating college visits. Supporting the transition from middle to high school by providing information and answering parent questions.

Scheduling:Working with the Directorof Counseling and Principals during the course request period as well ascreating the master course schedule for the school year. Helping parents and students to set up use and troubleshoot electronic scheduling.

Outcomes

  • Timely customer service response and resolution for High School Counselors
  • Accurate documentation distributed and filed for student records

Reporting Relationship

The Middle School/High School Registrar is accountable to the Middle School Principal and theHigh School Principal.
