Are you our next Process Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for process improvements in concentrates modelling and validation of process changes and assisting with scoping of capital projects. They lead and contribute to site initiatives supporting our strategic priorities.

What will you do

  • Process improvement projects in concentrates. This role will either focus on granulation or phosphoric acid. Primary responsibilities can include process improvements and innovation increasing production capabilities safety and environmental stewardship product quality improvements and technical support for other departments/disciplines.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of computerbased production models for the processes. Utilize the models to validate process improvements for the purpose of project prioritization. Support capital projects for the purpose of scoping and upfront engineering requirements.
  • Assist with planning activities including process modeling development of production targets and parameters capital design support and fiveyear planning activities. Identifying longer term areas of improvement to fill through technology or innovation.
  • Ensuring a highlevel of safety and environmental excellence is sustained in the operation of the assets in our facilities. Participate and contribute to EHS requirements including safety audits safety meetings 5S and Management of Change.

What do you need for this role

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering required.
  • EngineerinTraining (E.I.T.) certification or Professional Engineer (.) status with APEGS preferred.
  • Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills. Collaborative and can perform in a team environment.
  • Strong ability to set goals priorities and schedule to accomplish tasks.
  • Effective oral & written communication skills.

Engineer I

  • 02 years of coop or internship exp

Engineer II

  • 2 years of related experience in engineering industrial project experience or engineering project management

Engineer III

  • 4 years of related experience in engineering industrial project experience or engineering project management

Engineer Sr

  • 8 years or more of related experience in engineering industrial project experience or engineering project management
