Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree or higher from a recognized accredited college or university;
- Valid Texas Certification forEC6 or EC4(Standard Provisional or OneYear certificates only;ACP candidates on a probationary certificate do not qualify);
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred;
- Strong experience with atrisk / small group reading intervention and instruction;
- Excellent classroom management.
- This position does not qualify for a lateral teacher transfer within CFISD during the school year.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days
SALARY:
Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees
- Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing stooping bending pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks media equipment desks and other classroom equipment.
