RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Management System

Identify analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and business processes that are in scope of the Quality Management System; contribute to the design of the QMS; provide specialist quality management oversight to the drafting of new policies and procedures and design of business processes; contribute to the quantification of the costs and business benefits of change.

Health Safety and Environment

Monitor and review performance against Health Safety and Environment (HS&E) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and patterns of behavior within the area of responsibility; Take action improve performance and to resolve noncompliance with the organizations HS&E policies procedures and mandatory instructions.

Quality Testing Design

Develop and validate complex new test methods and procedures for a product or operations segment incorporating new technologies and meeting changing organizational customer and/or regulatory requirements.

Leadership and Direction

Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the functions strategy and action plan and the broader organizations mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.

Quality Testing

Select the appropriate complex tests or tests from a specified range and carry out using specialized methods and equipment; validate and interpret test data to verify that specifications are met and/or to identify remedial actions required to ensure conformance or suitability.

Improvement/Innovation

Identify shortcomings and suggest improvements to existing processes systems and procedures then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager.

Operational Compliance

Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organizations policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct and ensure own work adheres to required standards. OR Identify within the team patterns of noncompliance with the organizations policies and procedures and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.

Data Collection and Analysis

Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.

Stakeholder Engagement

Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.

Performance Management

Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives using the organizations performance management systems to improve personal performance. OR Manage and report on team performance; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project / account team members and hold them accountable for achieving these taking appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.

Organizational Capability Building

Use the organizations formal development framework to identify the teams individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.

Education

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Level

General Experience

Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years )

Managerial Experience

Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years to 6 years)
