Salary:$110000$130000 per year with additional performancebased bonuses and benefits
Type:Fulltime Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking an experiencedSite Superintendentto lead institutional commercial and industrial (ICI) construction projects including community centers libraries and longterm care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing projects from groundbreaking to completion ensuring quality safety and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all onsite operations ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors suppliers and site staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with blueprints specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct site meetings and provide regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve challenges to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in ICI construction with proven expertise in managing projects valued between $5M and $30M.
- PreEngineering experience highly considered an asset.
- Indepth knowledge of Ontario Building Code safety regulations and construction best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts efficiently
