Job Description
Atlas Tech a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities is seeking a passionate flexible highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. We are seeking a Unified Communication Subject Matter Expert (SME) to plan design deploy and continue to support a mission critical project for the Cisco UC Manager and Session Border Controller (SBC) platform.
**THIS IS A 100% REMOTE POSITION**
You Will:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams organizing documenting and managing a longterm organizational UC initiative.
- Utilize multiple switch vendors; Juniper Ruckus Aruba Cisco switches Palo Alto Firewall Panorama and Wireless.
- Be responsible for the coordination of crossfunctional teams in relation to the deployment and support of the physical/virtual network infrastructure which includes technologies such as VMWare Linux Windows Server physical Servers and enterprise storage arrays.
- Provide the required network support for the deployment of infrastructure UC architecture processes and reports.
- Investigate functionality issues related to UC security and system configurations.
- Work with sustainment teams in the review analysis and resolution to UC related performance issues.
- Perform the required work associated with UC network administration such as the installation and configuration of network infrastructure the deployment of backup and recovery processes for network and the implementation of maintenance processes that ensure the continued stability and performance of network systems.
- Manage and participate in the monitoring optimization and diagnosis of currently deployed network systems.
- Provide the appropriate documentation to management detailing the root cause analysis of outages performance concerns and propose resolution and optimization options.
- Work closely with the Manager and the Enterprise Security Architecture Team to plan design implement support and monitor that the security initiatives are being met for the organization.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Network Engineer Service Leads and the Enterprise Network Architect to implement configure and support the Enterprise UC Network Infrastructure.
- Assist in the initial capacity analysis deployment design and overall system architecture needed to support the UC Network platform and expected support activity.
- Provide the necessary support in the investigation and resolution of system level issues.
You Have:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret level Security Clearance.
- IAT Level II Security Certification (Security CE CySA GICSP GSEC or SCCP)
- Cisco OS Certification (CCNA CCNP or similar)
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field required.
- Demonstrated competence in LAN/WAN technologies.
- Must have extensive handson Avaya troubleshooting experience.
- CCNP Voice or Avaya Aura certification preferred.
- Indepth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure Cisco Call manager Voice Gateways Unity and UCCx.
- DoD Unified Communications Session Border Controller 3 to 5 years experience.
- Experience designing deploying and sustaining Avaya Aura Phone systems preferably within a DOD environment.
- Experience designing and transitioning multiple site migrations.
Troubleshoot high severity issues as a Tier IV operational UC subject matter expert.
