About The Role: This role is focused on Marketplace growth data and business operations on a team that includes data product and demand growth experts. This role will span all aspects of Marketplace growth data needs with special attention to reporting and growth of our marketplace search product and ecosystem. The role will report into the VP of Marketplaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain indepth expertise in marketplace data including both internal and external metrics to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Marketplaces Marketing and Product teams to establish and continuously refine metrics for measuring success across various lines of business.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses to derive actionable insights regarding customer behavior velocity and intent to recommend strategies for growth.
  • Proactively handle adhoc analysis requests from leadership to address critical business questions and provide datadriven recommendations.
  • Design and lead special projects that enhance operational efficiency and insight generation such as developing internal tools that streamline data consumption for the operations team.
  • Own and manage the reporting of key business performance indicators for the marketplace coordinating with Product Marketing Sales and Operations teams.
  • Supervise and mentor a Senior Analyst and two FullStack Engineers focused on the technical development and maintenance of marketplace tools and data infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of relevant experience with preference of a Bachelors Degree or 5 years of experience with a Masters Degree in a related field.
  • Proven ability to independently create and address complex analytical questions demonstrating resourcefulness and minimal need for guidance.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficiency in using Excel and Google Sheets for conducting business analyses and formatting comprehensive reports.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases and the ability to write complex efficient SQL queries to support business analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for advanced data analysis and visualization.
  • Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn Looker for data visualization and reporting purposes.
  • Exceptional communication skills to clearly present complex ideas and insights to technical nontechnical and executivelevel audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams and managing direct reports.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a fastpaced datadriven environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of additional data visualization tools and software.
  • Industryspecific knowledge relevant to our marketplace operations.
