Transports and assists patients throughout the medical center. May also transport patients to and from appointments at the medical center .Job Description:
EDUCATION
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- HS Diploma or general education degree (GED).
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- BLSBasic Life Support Healthcare Provider
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- Previous working experience in a health care environment.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians patients families; patience and compassion
- Ability to lift and position patients properly using best practices
- Must be customer focused and be able to promote services in a positive manner
- Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions
- Ability to work independently prioritize work tolerate frequent interruptions and work well under pressure

Pay Range is $29.43 to $35.17 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
