The Events and Marketing Coordinator is a key team member within the Marketing Department supporting the endtoend delivery of a range of clientfacing and internal events that align with the firms business development strategy as described below. Working closely with partners feeearners and the wider business development and marketing team the role requires strong organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to deliver highquality events that reflect the firms brand and values. The Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Business Development and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Organises executes and supports Firmsponsored seminars webinars and receptions for clients and prospective clients in the region as well as for an internal audience.
Works closely with lawyers and the Marketing team on event logistics including venue sourcing and management thirdparty vendor management speaker communications catering AV requirements handout materials visual presentations invitations name badges and event followup.
Maintains an internal events calendar and manages resources to ensure critical deliverables and milestones are met in adherence to the event workplan.
Provides support in managing event budgets supplier negotiations and ensuring costefficiency including processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
Develops and maintains GDPRcompliant mailing lists and distributions groups.
Creates event invitations in collaboration with our design team and coordinates website and social media event promotion in collaboration with our digital marketing team.
Coordinates and manages preplanning and debriefing meetings with stakeholders.
Coordinate metrics and tracking tools to report on events including monitoring attendance and collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
Works with lawyers and the Marketing team to identify and leverage event and sponsorship opportunities and oversees/prepares related materials and presentations.
Coordinates event ticket requests for client hospitality and merchandise requests including maintaining strong relationships with corporate hospitality suppliers and third party merchandise suppliers.
Liaises with lawyers and the Marketing team to produce and distribute client and internal communications and newsletters including posting to the website or intranet.
Collaborates with the creative team to produce collateral materials that support sponsorships and advertisements.
Assists in the drafting editing and maintenance of lawyer bios and practice area descriptions.
Supports the creation and design of social media content and related metrics.
Supports special projects as requested by the Business Development & Marketing Director/Specialists and lawyers.
Collaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams

Qualifications:
Relevant experience in corporate event planning marketing or communications.
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Demonstrable writing editing and proofreading skills
Bachelors degree preferably in communications or marketing
General understanding of the legal competitive landscape.
Legal marketing or professional services events or marketing experience.
Familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g. Zoom Webinars Teams).
