Description
A company distributing analytical instruments and reagents is looking for a Sales Professional for their Bioprocessing team portfolio. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities managing existing accounts and providing technical sales expertise to support clients in optimizing their bioprocessing workflows. The successful candidates key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: drive breakthrough sales results; actively engage with local pharmaceutical biotechnology and cell culture and protein purification laboratories to boost sales and bring spectacular solutions to our customers. Provide expert advice on company products and services including singleuse bioprocessing equipment filtration systems bioreactors chromatography solutions and other related technologies. Take ownership of your territory (KZN Free State and Gauteng but predominantly KZN) and accounts with regular customer visits and active sales calls using company tools to manage and grow your accounts. Become the goto advisor for customers answering technical queries and following up on all quotations and inquiries using Salesforce. Uncover new opportunities and crossdepartment leads that will contribute to the companys spectacular growth. Work together with other sales support teams business partners and Sales Management to build strong customer relationships and meet monthly sales targets.
Key Requirements
Bachelors degree in Biotechnology Biochemistry Life Sciences Engineering or a related field. Handson experience in bioprocessing cell culture protein expression and purification. Alternately experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing at a SAHPRA licensed facility focused on sterile product manufacture At least 2 years sales experience in scientific market. Drivers licence and own car essential. Valid passport and willing to travel locally.

Have good interpersonal skills and very good problemsolving skills. Must be able to work independently but must also be a good team player. Highly motivated and driven.
