Job Summary Market Strategy Manager (Remote)
Omnicells goal is to transform the pharmacy delivery model by continuing to build a fully autonomous pharmacy. The autonomous pharmacy will combine automation insights and service to deliver demonstrable outcomes to customers. Our goal is to improve patient safety reduce labor cost reduce drug spend and improve value in the pharmacy supply chain.
As we grow we need to continue to have a strong understanding of the markets we serve and the competitive environment. We also need to evaluate new and adjacent markets in the context of what we deliver today and where we are going longer term. Critical is a need to understand the underlying market structure growth opportunities and competitive environments for new markets.
The Market Strategy Manager is a critical member of Omnicells Market Strategy team playing a pivotal role in shaping the companys growth trajectory. This role is responsible for developing and executing market analysis and strategy initiatives that inform product development market entry and competitive positioning. You will translate market insights into actionable strategic recommendations driving key business decisions and contributing directly to Omnicells success.
This role will work across many functions and organizational levels and have significant visibility within Omnicell. The Market Strategy Manager must be capable of crossorganizational collaboration with regular communication on progress and must be able to handle multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Analysis:Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities emerging trends and competitive threats within the medication management and pharmacy automation landscape.
- Trend Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:Drive Omnicells growth by proactively identifying and analyzing critical market trends and competitive dynamics. This includes assessing technological advancements workforce trends care delivery models payment structures and regulatory policies. Develop indepth competitive profiles analyze competitor strategies and assess their potential impact on Omnicells market position.
- Market Modeling & Segmentation:Develop market models (TAM SAM & SOM) to segment and size addressable markets identifying key customer segments and their specific needs.
- Market Growth Strategy: Leverage indepth market insights to develop and execute datadriven strategies that accelerate business growth enable successful market entry and achieve competitive dominance. Cultivate a play to win culture by defining strategic where to play decisions building sustainable how to win competitive advantages and ensuring organizational capabilities are aligned to achieve and maintain market leadership.
- Business Case Development:Support the development of business cases for organic and inorganic growth opportunities quantifying the potential impact on Omnicells financial performance.
- Collaboration & Communication:Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including product management sales marketing and business development to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
- Thought Leadership:Develop and present market insights and strategic recommendations to senior management contributing to Omnicells overall strategic direction.
- Pharmacy Automation Expertise:Leverage and build deep expertise in the pharmacy automation market including understanding key trends technologies and customer needs.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking:Demonstrated ability to analyze complex market data identify key insights and develop strategic recommendations that drive business growth.

- Communication & Presentation:Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Exceptional MS Office skills (i.e. Excel Word PowerPoint) and experience with market research tools and databases.
- SelfStarter & Project Management:A highly motivated selfstarter with the ability to lead and drive projects independently managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge:Solid understanding of the healthcare industry with preference for experience in pharmacy automation medication management and related technologies.
Basic Qualifications
- MBA or Masters degree in a related field.
- 10 years of experience in consulting strategic marketing corporate strategy or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in market research analysis and strategy development.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry particularly with health IT medical devices pharmaceuticals or related fieldswith direct experience in pharmacy automation strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the pharmacy automation landscape including key vendors technologies and market trends.
- Experience with market sizing segmentation and forecasting.
- Experience working with healthcare data and analytics.
