Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Provide academic behavioral and socialemotional support to students to promote success wellbeing and engagement in school. Serve as a liaison between students families and campus staff to support student achievement and campus initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelors degree in education counseling social work or a related field (Masters preferred)
- Valid Texas teaching counseling or administrative certificate (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong understanding of student development and behavioral support strategies
- Knowledge of school systems and student support programs
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students parents teachers and administrators
- Ability to assess student needs and coordinate appropriate interventions and services
Experience:
- Minimum two years experience in education or student support services
