Job Title : Infrastructure & Vendor Management Lead

Job Summary:
The Infrastructure and Vendor management lead is responsible for overseeing the planning procurement implementation maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. This role involves collaborating with team of IT professionals ensuring reliability of the servers other critical systems and supporting the organization's technology needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background excellent leadership skills and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement in IT infrastructure. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the procurement setup and maintenance of Infrastructure.
- Ensure the stability integrity and efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure. (Rephrase)
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
Planning and Budget Management:
- Collaborate with application teams to develop IT infrastructure plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement costeffective strategies to manage IT infrastructure expenses ensuring that all expenditures remain within the allocated budget while maintaining highquality service delivery.
- Analyze and determine the total cost of ownership (TCO) for all applications providing insights to guide strategic decisionmaking and optimize resource allocation.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Review and manage existing contracts to ensure compliance with agreedupon terms and conditions.
- Work with legal and procurement teams to ensure contracts align with organizational policies and legal requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for vendors facilitating communication and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
Vendor Selection and Onboarding:
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of new vendors to ensure they meet the organization's requirements and standards.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new vendors ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organization's operations.
Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with SLAs and organizational expectations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to evaluate vendor effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance.
Cost Management and Optimization:
- Analyze vendor pricing and service offerings to identify costsaving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
- Work with vendors to optimize service delivery and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Issue Resolution and Escalation:
- Timely resolution of any issues with vendors in a effective manner. Escalate unresolved issues to senior management or relevant stakeholders as needed.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships including potential disruptions to service delivery or compliance issues.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential vendorrelated risks.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in vendor management to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors to explore innovative solutions and technologies that can enhance the organization's IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field.
10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and Vendor Management role.
Strong knowledge of server management virtualization and cloud technologies.
Experience with security protocols and compliance standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL FinOps PMP etc).
Experience in similar role in BFSI.
Work Location:
Expected to work from Office as per JPMC RTTO policy.
