We are looking for a proactive System Administrator with working knowledge of DevOps tools AWS cloud infrastructure and Linux systems who can also provide support for hardwarelevel troubleshooting and infrastructure setup. This is a hybrid role that requires handson technical expertise across both software and hardware systems to ensure smooth IT operations and efficient deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & DevOps:
1. Manage monitor and maintain Linuxbased servers and virtual machines.
2. Set up and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2 S3 IAM VPC CloudWatch etc.).
3. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
4. Manage version control using Git and support development teams in DevOps tasks.
5. Monitor server performance uptime and system logs; handle outages and system issues.
6. Enforce security best practices across cloud and onprem environments.
Hardware & IT Infrastructure Support:
1. Perform system installations upgrades and hardware diagnostics.
2. Troubleshoot network devices desktop/laptop issues printers and peripheral devices.
3. Maintain inventory and perform periodic checks on physical IT assets.
4. Support office/remote setups including VPN firewalls routers and access points.
5. Coordinate with vendors for procurement and repairs of hardware components.
Requirements
Required Skills:
1. 1.5 to 2 years of handson experience in Linux system administration and AWS cloud services.
2. Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP DHCP DNS firewalls).
3. Experience with DevOps tools: Git Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD etc.
4. Exposure to handling IT hardware and troubleshooting physical devices.
5. Ability to juggle multiple tasks from server deployments to local hardware issues.
Nice to Have:
1. Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform Ansible).
2. Exposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes is a bonus).
3. AWS Certification (Associate level) or Linux certification.
4. Experience working with ticketing systems like Zoho or JIRA
