Role:
This is a certified law enforcement position for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribal Police. This position maintains peace and order within the boundaries of the PBP Reservation while protecting the PBPN community and all Tribal and Government property within the community. Provide for public safety by responding to emergencies protecting people and property enforcing motor vehicle and criminal laws and promoting good community relations.
To qualify for this position applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience. Must be 21 years of age.
Education: High School Diploma/GED. Successful completion of Kansas Law Enforcement Basic Training Academy or an equivalent Federal or State approved academy and certify as a FullTime Kansas Law Enforcement Officer. Successful Completion of Emergency Vehicle Operators Course Certification.
