Job Description
Job Description: The Cross Country Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the boys and girls cross country teams. This includes organizing practices developing conditioning programs supervising studentathletes and coordinating meet participation. The coach should instill values of sportsmanship teamwork and personal development while fostering a positive competitive environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience coaching cross country or distance running is preferred
- Strong knowledge of training techniques race strategies and injury prevention
- Ability to mentor and motivate studentathletes
- Valid coaching certification and CPR/First Aid preferred
- Ability to manage team logistics schedules and communication with parents and administration
