Position Overview: We are seeking an outgoing and customeroriented individual to join our team as a BMW Service Genius. In this exciting role you will be responsible for greeting all incoming service customers. You will begin their service appointment process with a video walkaround and identify damages or opportunities for the service department. By providing expert guidance technical support and education to BMW service clients regarding the features functionality and technology within their vehicles. Your passion for BMW vehicles strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical information will enhance the overall ownership experience for our customers. This position will begin your automotive career and we will provide you a career path as well as invest in your ongoing education and personal growth within our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:

    • Welcome customers and create a positive first impression by showcasing enthusiasm and expertise.
    • Engage with customers to understand their needs preferences and possible technical questions related to their BMW vehicles.
    • Conduct a condition preservice walkaround video of the customers vehicle using our app. Identify any vehicle damages or potential service needs by simply pointing it out in the video. Hand off the customer to the BMW service advisor and ensure consistent flow in the BMW service lane. Properly parkand moveclients vehicles to the next stage of the process. Pre stage BMW service loaners as well as customer pick up.
    • Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with customers and enhance their satisfaction with the brand.
  2. Product Knowledge and Demonstration:

    • Develop an indepth understanding of the features technology and functionality of various BMW models.
    • Demonstrate and explain vehicle features to customers highlighting advanced technology safety systems infotainment options and convenience features.
    • Assist customers in setting up and personalizing their vehicles advanced settings and functions.
  3. Technical Support:

    • Provide technical assistance to customers by addressing their questions concerns and troubleshooting challenges related to vehicle systems and technology.
    • Collaborate with the service department and technicians to find solutions to technical issues and concerns.
  4. Education and Workshops:

    • Participate in ongoing BMW education courses and workshops

    • Create informative materials guides and resources to help customers optimize their vehicles capabilities.

  5. Digital and Online Support:

    • Assist customers in navigating BMWs digital platforms including mobile apps and online resources.
    • Provide guidance on remote services overtheair updates and online connectivity features.
  6. Feedback and Collaboration:

    • Collect feedback from customers and relay insights to the dealership helping improve customer experiences.
    • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to identify opportunities for customer engagement and satisfaction improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record with valid drivers license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or automotiverelated education is a plus.
  • Passion for BMW vehicles and a strong interest in automotive technology and innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Customerfocused mindset with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service and support.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms including mobile apps and online resources.
  • Patience empathy and a positive attitude when working with customers.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving technology.
