Job Description

Start Time: 7:00 AM Monday through Friday

The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Perform duties of a warehouser (picking packing and staging of orders load & unload trailers).
  • Act as a resource for Customer Account needing information related to the warehouse operation.
  • Work with the customer follow all appropriate on site safe initiatives.
  • Perform data entry into customer and/or Pyles system.
  • Handle situations involving hazardous and nonhazardous products.
  • Inspect products upon arrival and departure.
  • Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Leadership.

To be qualified for this position you must possess the following:

  • Warehouse lead experience over seeing a group of warehousers
  • Experience doing Cycle Counts counting & verifying the inventory is accurate
  • Experience using Warehouse Management System SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes & procedures
  • Receiving and Shipping experience using a forklift and pallet jack
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask; strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to be accurate is crucial.
  • Ability to think and work independently and use judgment to make decisions.
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks.
  • Positive and Professional Demeanor.
  • Experience in a fast paced changing work environment.
  • Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
  • Must have sufficient verbal skills to be able to converse with customer and associates in an intelligent clear manner.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to comprehend standard concepts practices policies and procedures.
  • Strong familiarity with MS Office (Word Excel and Outlook); basic typing skill.
