Job Description
General Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for keeping the inventory accurate through cycle counts assisting logistics manager and plant manager in the administration of quarterly inventories and other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager.
Essential Duties:
Schedules all inbound raw material shipments.
Unloads all inbound raw material shipments.
Receives all inbound materials into companys ERP system.
Coordinates with shipping to verify outbound shipments for accuracy.
Performs daily cycle counts following a strict schedule to ensure inventory accuracy.
Performs inventory transactions into the companys ERP system.
Coordinates with Operations Manager for yearend physical inventory.
Supports special projects and tasks assigned by management.
Responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels of office & manufacturing supplies i.e. tapes labels etc.
Responsible for executing quarterly accelerated cycle counts.
Presents a professional and cordial attitude toward plant visitors customers and vendors.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
12 years of experience in inventory control warehousing or similar.
Basic ERP and computer skills (MS Office).
Excellent communication organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to operate a forklift
