The Technical Part:
- Mastersdegree in Planning with at least five(5) years of environmental planning experience such as natural resource management and land use infrastructure urban development and governance/legal framework.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Shift: Administrative and according to business needs.
- Hybrid support: 80% InPerson and 20% Remote.
- Strong analytical and research skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in:
- Planning
- Solid waste management (recycling and composting)

AS A PIECE OF FITS YOU WILL: (The daytoday on the job)
- Identify and design a methodology and tools to identify potential programs for solid waste management and necessary data or information which may include recycling and composting.
- Prepare a detailed workplan schedule of site visits and coordinate access to the assessment area between community representatives and residents.
- Review historical records from federal state and local databases.
- Assess applicable legal and regulatory frameworks to identify past activities and existing policies that may support a viable solid waste management solution.
- Gather information and implement the approved methodology and tools to identify potential programs for solid waste management and necessary data or information which may include recycling and composting.
- Interview current residents and other relevant stakeholders specified in the methodology to gather information on needs and assets available for programs for solid waste management that may include recycling and composting.
- Analyze baseline and collect data to assess current conditions.
- Compile the findings from analysis and data collected into a comprehensive report.
- Provide clear recommendations for at least three (3) potential solid waste management programs or solutions strategies.
- Create an accessible presentation for community members.
