Come and join our new housing team as it is an exciting time. We are investing in our staff and have launched a redesigned service to enable us to provide the best housing options support we can to the people of Bedford. You will need a passion for serving the community and helping people.

If you have great customer service and communication skills and are eager to learn all the skills and knowledge required to be a housing advice professional and start a new career then we want to hear from you.

This role will require the ability to be able to travel to carry out home visits and attend sites around the Borough and participate in an outofhours service.

This role is for maternity cover for a maximum of 12 months.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If your application is successful you will be required to declare any spent and unspent convictions adult cautions (simple or conditional) that are not protected as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020).
