We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) of General Liability Claims to lead and oversee the strategic and operational management of general liability claims including complex bodily injury property damage premises liability and litigation matters. This leadership role is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge a strong leadership background and a track record of driving results in a claims environment.

Job Description
- Provide executivelevel oversight of general liability claims operations ensuring timely accurate and costeffective resolution of claims
- Lead mentor and develop a highperforming team of examiners supervisors and managers
- Implement and monitor best practices for claims handling litigation management and customer service
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure departmental goals are met or exceeded
- Oversee complex and highexposure claims including large loss reviews and settlement strategies
- Collaborate with underwriting actuarial legal and senior leadership to align claims strategy with corporate objectives
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements
- Participate in audits reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 10 years of general liability claims experience with at least 35 years in a leadership or executive role
- Proven expertise in handling highseverity general liability claims including premises liability bodily injury and litigated matters
- Experience managing multijurisdictional claims and working with TPAs or internal claim teams
- Strong leadership analytical and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or insurance designations (e.g. CPCU AIC) preferred
