Job Description

Full wage range $16.50 $23.50 Per hr. (DOE & Seniority with Prestige)



PTO:
Fulltime and PartTime (over 20 hours/week) accrue PTO at rate of 0 .034/ hour during their first year.

Attendance bonus nursing school scholarship and we pay for licensing/credentialing

Job Summary:

Provides direct resident carecompletes assignments as a universal worker assists in maintaining a positivephysical and psychosocial environment for residents and upholds Prestigescore values of respect integrity commitment and trust.


Essential Functions:

1. Provides direct residentcare while promoting resident dignity independence and choice regularlyobserves residents physical and mental conditions and reports changes to theHealth Services Director Expressions Coordinator or Executive Director.

2. Assists with or performsADLs takes vital signs and weights and accurately documents care servicesprovided and observations on communication log and incident reports. Reportsand documents all incidents and accidents immediately.

3. Assists residents to andfrom dining room and activities.

4. Performs First Aid andinitiates emergency response procedures as required.

5. Greets residents visitorsand staff courteously and answers phones when assigned.

6. Follows and supportscommunity fire safety and infection control practices and promptly reports anyunsafe conditions or equipment to immediate supervisor.

7. Serves meals in the diningroom assisting residents at meal time provides resident tray delivery andassists with dining room and kitchen clean up and maintenance.

8. Assists with toursmoveins moveouts and transfers and coordinates personal care service withcoworkers assisting with lifting and responds to assistance pages promptly.

9. Assists with apartmenthousekeeping services and residents laundry.

10. Attends and participates intraining inservices and staff meetings.

11. Performs other relatedduties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Must complete and passcompetency evaluation within 120 days of employment state required training includingthe Revised Fundamentals of Care Dementia Care First Aid CPR and HIVtraining if not able to provide appropriate documentation of prior be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirementslisted below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or abilityrequired. Must be able to perform essential job duties with or withoutreasonable accommodation.


EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED withone or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred


CERTIFICATESLICENSES REGISTRATIONS

Current First Aid and CPRcertification. Food Handlers permit if required by State.
