Job Summary
Reporting to the HRIS Manager this role involves responsibilities like exploring planning conducting and overseeing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated and standardized leadingedge solutions and system implementations to overcome organizational challenges. Working with Workday HCM partners with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive understanding of business process requirements leverages best practices to design configure and test solutions runs enduser training sessions and provides postimplementation support. This role is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Austin TX.
What a typical day looks like:
- Partner with TA counterparts and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into functional specifications. You will streamline and optimize global TA processes using Workday.
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
- Work directly with stakeholders to improve operational procedures to increase efficiency productivity and strategic goals.
- Act as the Workday SME overseeing system configurations and security and ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
- Research design and test new systems and system enhancements by the deliverables of the site business/customers requirements.
- Create and present reports to executive team members and stakeholders to support solution proposals.
- Support project management during planning and execution that is relevant to the projects scale.
- Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion consistent with all software development lifecycle phases.
- Write clear precise functional and technical specifications for development teams
- Use various technical and functional tools to analyze complex structures and identify patterns to provide impactful insights.
- Communicate with users to identify and resolve issues and troubleshoot and investigate system behaviors and deficiencies.
- Work within the established model to allow scalability of software and/or systems through appropriate intake and prioritization of new requirements.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Bachelors degree in HR IT Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as Business Analyst working on Workday HCM solutions or equivalent position.
- Demonstrated experience with Workday HCM configuration Advanced Compensation configuration and Workday reporting.
- Knowledge of change management principles and experience leading initiatives. Familiarity with HR processes and best practices particularly in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Previous experience in a fastpaced dynamic work environment
