Summary:
The Facilities SRP (Solvent Recover Process) & CESS (Central Electrolyte Storage System) Team Lead role is an experienced individual who will support the facilities SRP/CESS process teams. The SRP/ CESS Area will require a total of 2 Team Leads that will each lead teams of associates to support the daily SRP / CESS process. The role will be to support mentor and direct each team through daily workload assignments training project management and daily work activities. The responsibilities for this role include oversight of shift operations equipment processes and material handling. The Team Lead role will be responsible for decision making equipment & process troubleshooting for critical items in the SRP/ CESS Areas.
Responsibilities:
- The SRP/CESS Team Lead will follow the battery cell manufacturing process by using the plants technology and equipment
- Guide and train LH Battery and contracted technicians to support their growth of skills and abilities.
- Oversight of manpower work shift & coordinate assignment of daily task and workload.
- Provide daily mentoring and guidance for growth of SRP/ CESS staff members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to both upper management and team members.
- An understanding of Anode and Cathode mixing will be used while utilizing the HMI to activate the equipment.
- Develop and employ an understanding of solvent recovery and purification process.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the (SRP) solvent recovery purification process central electrolyte storage system and environmental equipment.
- Set up and monitor the solvent recovery process and central electrolyte storage system HMIs.
- Develop and employ an understanding of bulk material unloading and storage.
- Oversight of the CESS area to load unload sample inspect and preserve necessary chemicals according to department requirements.
- Operate mobile equipment such as a scissor lift fork truck side by side handjack and other equipment as needed.
- Support of SRP/CESS utility infrastructure reliability capacity and safety.
- Support budget responsibilities to formulate requests track expenditures analyzing trends.
- Support organizational budgets for capital investment and expense activities.
- Provide technical expertise to meet daily operations targets and production goals.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with associated contract documents codes and regulations.
- Oversight of the contracted Boiler technicians the mange maintenance & repair of the Hot Oil Boilers.
- Oversight of the environmental technicians to manage maintenance of the environmental equipment and controls.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- 36 years of related work experience
Knowledge/skills:
- Positive attitude open minded and team player.
- Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
- Strong subject matter knowledge of industrial utility and infrastructure systems.
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to use Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Demonstrate basic math and reading comprehension.
- Demonstrate critical thinking problem solving attention to detail decision making and troubleshooting abilities.
- Comprehending technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to monitor gauges dials or other indicators to ensure equipment is working property
- Must be comfortable with heights.
- Effective communication of ideas to gain consensus from individuals or teams.
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working well in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to balance the wants / needs of the customer with Facilities operational requirements.
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Korean language proficiency a plus.
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work in both office and shop environments.
- Hands on support of equipment.
- Flexibility to work adjusted shifts as necessary.
- This role could require up to 10% of travel (domestic or international)
