Job Overview

As an Expert in Government Sales Development (SDR) at TMobile for Business youll play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and creating new business opportunities through cold outbound prospecting within the government segment.
Your efforts will help build a robust pipeline for our sales team. By engaging with prospects and understanding their needs youll contribute significantly to expanding our customer base and driving our overall success. Your role is essential in uncovering potential leads and setting the stage for our sales team to close deals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect: Conduct cold outbound prospecting via phone email and social media to generate new business leads.
  • Manage data and records: Managing and cleansing data in the Salesforce CRM system and maintaining accurate and uptodate records of all prospecting activities.
  • Communicate with prospects: Emailing and calling prospects to understand and build their interest in TFB solutions.
  • Follow processes: Carefully following the followup sequence lead management process in Salesforce and the qualification process to qualify leads.
  • Provide feedback: Providing feedback to the Marketing team on lead quality processes and performance.
  • Qualify leads: Qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team.
  • Research: Research and identify potential customers and key decisionmakers within target accounts in the small to midsized business space.
  • Collaborate: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine outreach strategies.


Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Less than 2 years Call center/sales experience Required


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Sales Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques including prospecting lead qualification and closing deals. Experience in outbound sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. (Preferred)
  • Communication Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey information and build relationships with clients and team members. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. (Required)
  • Client Relationship Management Ability to establish and cultivate initial client relationships including setting up meetings and connecting with key contacts within the organization. Experience in managing first impressions understanding client needs and laying the groundwork for future business opportunities. (Preferred)
  • Organizational Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. (Required)
  • SelfMotivation Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven mindset demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently. (Required)
  • Teamwork Ability to work independently and as part of a team collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. (Required)
  • CRM Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and other sales enablement tools. (Preferred)
  • Technology Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and Outlook. (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $52200 $94300 inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $36540 $66010

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successfulcandidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications andexperience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. To find the pay range for this rolebased on hiring location TMobile employees in regular nontemporary Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
