The Opportunity
We are looking for an Electronic Repair Technician who is looking for an entry level position in a technical engineering lab environment. Responsibilities will include movement of inventory within our warehouse organizing files and datasheets in our lab hands on soldering and formatting of documentation and work procedures. If you enjoy tinkering with hand tools organizing information in both paper and digital formats and learning new skills to develop a strong mechanical aptitude we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve and place inventory in requested staging area within the warehouse or lab
- Maintain proper format of work procedures and related documentation
- Record data in appropriate format to include online applications or spreadsheets
- Organize paper and digital information related to lab operations
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Perform basic hand soldering PCB level rework
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to optimize workflows and meet performance targets
- Maintain our ISO 13485 compliance by following processes and relevant work instructions. You may be asked to create review and update work instructions related to your role to support clear and streamlined workflows
Knowledge Skills and Abilities youll need for this opportunity:
- High School diploma/GED required AS/AA Degree in Electronics or Electromechanical systems is nice to have
- Proven ability to work with a variety of hand tools
- Ability to perform clean solder joints with an eye for good vs. poor solder connections
- Analytical thinker with strong problemsolving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- ERP and CRM system knowledge and experience Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple high priority items at once
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle timesensitive situations and provide afterhours support as required
- Willingness to work within a defined quality management system and a passion for continuous improvement
