Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Senior Analyst to join our finance team for a 9 months contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial activities including journal entries intercompany transactions data uploads and reconciliations. The role requires a deep understanding of financial processes strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.

Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

1. Monthly Activities:

Prepare and post regular journal entries and reversal journals.
Generate and review GL exception reports and maintain the journal log.
Provide an overview of journal entries group reporting calendar and Spectra reports.

2. Intercompany Transactions:

Manage recharge invoices for AR and AP.
Handle Intercompany preagreements and IC accruals.
Prepare and reconcile statements of accounts (SOA).
Prepare detailed processes for data preparation and upload into BPC.
Resolve IC mismatches and generate IC upload reports.
Input cashpool interest and FX revaluation.
Perform validation checks and control submissions for the IC cube.
Reconcile BPC data with Spectra.

3. Monthend close and Group reporting

Execute detailed data upload processes into BPC.
Prepare BPC PnL and Balance Sheet load forms.
Conduct validation checks and submit finance cube reports.
Manage nonstaff costs including audit fees filing fees professional services and interest payable/receivable.
Input and check monthly PL data.
Upload BS numbers into BPC and update BS flows.
Perform BS checks and submit finance cube reports.

4. BS reconciliations in Blackline:

Prepare and review Balance Sheet (BS) schedules.
Perform high medium and lowrisk reconciliations for RCC entities.
Upload trial balance (TB) into Blackline.
Prepare and submit BS reconciliations.

Professional Skills

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 to 4 years of postqualification experience or Finance Graduate/Postgraduate/Semiqualified Accountant with 69 years of experience in Accounting Consolidation Financial reporting

  • Proficient in technical accounting and IFRS and Knowledge of US GAAP would be preferable

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) and Blackline tool will be an added advantage.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written). Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders across different regions and levels.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrate high level of responsibility and commitment to the assigned activities.

  • Agile and flexible to changing needs and adhoc requirements.
