We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to join our team in the role of supporting the referee staff and processing unemployment compensation appeals. This role will involve handling complex legal issues and requires dedication a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills. As a Legal Assistant 2 you will have a wide range of responsibilities and tasks to complete. Utilizing your excellent communication skills you will manage the referees hearing schedule prepare hearing notices and transcribe decisions from digital recordings. In addition you will be responsible for preparing decisions from typed drafts proofreading documents verifying and inputting data and maintaining both electronic and paper files. Furthermore you will handle client inquiries and maintain positive relationships. An ideal candidate for the position will be proficient in navigating computer applications and systems as well as interpreting various types of documentation and records. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to effectively manage the referee hearing process and support the team in their work.
