Job Description
This is a full-time position with a two-year contract with the expectation of ongoing contract renewal based on programmatic needs funding and the candidates performance. It is expected to start on September 1 2026. The teaching load for the position is 3-3 including upper division classes of the successful candidates choosing. Teaching decisions will be made in consultation with the Undergraduate Program Director of the Legal Studies Department. The successful candidate will be expected to participate fully in the Department of Legal Studies which includes both tenure track faculty and lecturers sharing teaching and service responsibilities.
Requirements
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in a disciplinary or interdisciplinary program with a focus on law. Applicants with a law degree (e.g. J.D.) will be considered if they provide evidence of successful undergraduate teaching.
