THE ROLE

Entegris is currently seeking a Principal Field Applications Development Leader to join our Life Sciences team. This position will ideally be based in our Billerica MA headquarters but there is some flexibility for the ideal candidate to be based more remotely ideally in the North East or Southern California regions.

In this role you will be responsible for building the opportunity pipeline in support of novel and valueadded solutions targeted towards the Life Science Oligonucleotide (RNA Therapeutics) Market. Focused on Specialty Chemicals (SC) offerings to enable synthesis the expectations for the role will be to drive crossbusiness/multiproduct opportunities e.g. in Fluid Management and Advanced Materials Handling (AMH). The location of these roles will be in Asia North America and Europe.

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Be responsible for the development and overall ownership of commercial growth opportunities & strategies focused on advancing Entegris penetration into the RNA Therapeutics (Oligonucleotide) market. Role will be regionally based and will execute as a global team to achieve key divisional goals.
  • Develop a keen understanding of market dynamics and industry technical roadmaps and utilize this knowledge to prioritize NPD efforts to ultimately gain longterm specification position for Entegris products.
  • Establish deep business relationships with customers senior management and secure access to and influence from critical customer influencers. Customers include CDMOs Biotech & Pharma drug companies.
  • Build and promote Entegris brand as a trusted supplier to Oligonucleotide market by reinforcing messaging externally @ industry technical symposia trade shows & conferences
  • Foster a worldclass global applications network by leveraging and sharing knowledge and information.
  • Work closely with SBU Account Managers toensure opportunities lead to business closure. Ensure and provide the right level oftechnical and application support during customer qualifications.
  • Lead and collaborate with a wide variety offunctional groups including Business Unit Field Application EngineeringR&D and Marketing to accomplish new product penetration into customers for Entegris process solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews with customers tounderstand their needs and work with account managers to devise accountpenetration management plan
  • Train customers and fellow colleagues onrelevant process solutions knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure alignment between the customer and Entegris technology roadmap.
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to drive financial profitability by working in concert with the respective SBUs.

WHAT WE SEEK:

  • Advanced degree in Chemistry/Biology or related Life Sciences field or BS degree with 10 years sales management experience within Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical API markets and customers
  • Technically astute with an ability to link industry technical challenges and unmet needs with potential Entegris solutions by partnering with internal R&D teams to drive effective new product launches.
  • Strong technical presentation skills with demonstrated experience representing a company at industry technical symposiums or trade show events via white paper or poster sessions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities as well as promote differentiated technical solutions with confidence. Equally comfortable and confident to handle challenging sales situations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with global business unit and sales team members
  • Strong track record of securing or supporting market share growth as a sales or applications leader with strong problem solving negotiation and management skills
  • Ability to help build promote and foster Entegris brand image as a trusted solutions provider in the Oligonucleotide/ RNA Therapeutics market.
  • Entrepreneurial selfstarting strategic thinker with demonstrated track record of success in the development and execution of advanced value selling and marketing strategies
  • Strategic thinker who can analyze and develop solutions in complex processes and/or business situations with the ability to work through ambiguity
  • Demonstrates a bias for action and willing to accept accountability
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities and projects with dynamic timelines to execution
  • Strong fluency in English for writing/speaking/reading/listening. Ability to translate highly technical information a plus.
