20Summary:
The Medical Assistant will work to assist Cook Childrens gastroenterologists who specialize in treating infants children and teenagers with diseases and disorders of the digestive system. The Medical assistant will assist with patient checkin taking patients vitals calling with results and assisting with procedures. The care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment appropriate to the ambulatory care setting with an emphasis on good customer relations. Knowing every childs life is sacred we promise to improve the wellbeing of every child in our care and our communities.
Hours: Parttime 20 hours per week 8 am 12 pm MondayFriday
*If hired must be able to travel to Fort Worth for a 4day orientation.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma required
Graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification required
Benefiteligible position
Licensure Registration and/or Certification:
Current BLS Certification is required before start
National certification preferred
